Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. All the staff were so pleasant and chatty. The hotel is spotless. Food and drink were all amazing (highly recommend the monkfish) and the spa is absolutely perfect for chilling out. We will definitely be back!

Just been for lunch in the bar. Been going to TOCI for many years. Pricing of lunch menu unnecessarily complicated (no individual prices on menu and couldn’t have just the soup starter - which wasn’t on other menus ) Food was at best mediocre and presentation poor. Charged £1.50 for half a slice of bread to finish pate. £3.50 for water. £5.50 for a coffee. Food was expensive for the quality of it Bar was v quiet - surprisingly so on a Friday. Wonder why ? Bill was wrong when asked for. Wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

Charming hotel not too far away from Belfast ( eg Titanic museum) . Great nature, near to beaches and golf courses. Rooms are charming too, and yet comfortable and up to standards. There is a bar, life entertaining and excellent restaurant. The Old Inn is also famous for the Treetop Spa. Most amazing were the staff at the front desk as well as the property manager. They were extremely helpful to get us back to Belfast on an earlier train connection. We highly recommend to stay at the Old Inn!

First time visiting after the Hills got their hands on it and as glad as were to see the back of the previous owners, it wouldn’t really have been somewhere to put back on our radar anyway. A weekend lunch and we thought we’d give it a go. We’d heard stories about their spa now attracting East Belfast’s tattooed finest and our first impression on entering the hotel confirmed that yes indeed, walking around in a spa robe and sliders was considered appropriate by Columbian Imports Inc. Bar was busy and they were way understaffed for the amount of customers. A long wait for someone to at least take our drink order at our table (which we’d booked) and an even longer wait for our food order to be taken. Girls were very pleasant, there just weren’t enough of them. Only one young lad behind the bar and he seemed to have two speeds, dead slow and stop. Food was ok to a point. My burger was as dry as the Gobi desert and the café de Paris mayonnaise was just plain weird. I’m a HUGE fan of it in [compound] butter form, but it doesn’t work when turned into a mayonnaise. The anchovy hit was too strong and it overwhelmed the other main flavours that should be present. Onion on the burger in some shape or form would’ve been more than welcome too, but alas no. Chips were good though. Far from oily. No sense of anyone in charge either. No visible management of any description, just the girls on the floor and the young lad behind the bar. Mens toilets were pretty dreadful. Putting aside it being used by spa guests who fancied a quick trip to South America, the hand drier didn’t work and it stunk heavily of pee. We tried it, but too many negatives to frequent it again.

The Old Inn Crawford Burn . Bangor Northern Ireland . What a delightful Inn ! Established in 1614 this historical gem is breathtaking . In the grounds is a romantic cottage , with traditional decor , complete with four poster bed where CS Lewis and his Wife Joy spent their honeymoon. If you are planning a romantic get away you can’t do better than the Old Inn. The inn has all the facilities you would expect from a spa hotel, lovely meeting rooms and excellent dining facilities. Mathew Stockton, the Business Development Manager , is a very warm , kind and welcoming host . The front desk staff absolutely lovely . I can’t wait to go back on an extended visit .

The Old Inn has become a regular spot for us. We love the mix of old and new. It has such a relaxed atmosphere and staff are excellent. The spa is very unique and we love that even with a full house, the spa never feels overly busy. We try to visit at least two/three times a year to unwind and look forward to our next trip.
